Happy New Year, MVMT fam! As this year welcomes us, I am wanting a healthy fresh kick start. Usually, most people like to make a New Year's resolution to better their life. Today, I am going to talk to you guys about little steps you can take to a healthier life style. Who says healthy can't be tasty?? Don't be fooled! I will walk you step by step on 2 recipes I use to start my day RIGHT! These 2 recipes will leave you feeling refreshed and satisfied. Let's get started!

The first recipe I will be sharing are the delicious egg white muffins.

Benefits: Egg whites are a great source of protein and filled with vitamins and minerals that will give you plenty of energy to take on your day with very little calories!! 

What you will need:

1. egg whites (you can buy them at your local grocery store boxed and ready to go)

2. cherry tomatoes 

3. spinach

4. Salt + pepper + onion powder

Chop the tomatoes into fourths. Prepare a muffin pan by adding a small bit of olive oil to keep the ingredients from sticking. Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees.


Start by adding the spinach to the pan first.

Then the egg whites

Then the cherry tomatoes. Top it off by adding as much or as little salt, pepper, and onion powder as desired. 

Place in oven and let bake for about 15 minutes.


What's breakfast without COFFEE?? Coffee is a great energy booster and also helps with your metabolism. However, many people destroy the benefits of coffee by adding lots of sugars and heavy creams. I wanted to maintain the great values of black coffee without it tasting... well... black and bitter. So, here is my alternative way to yummy coffee!


1. coffee

2. honey

3. coconut oil

4. a tiny bit of almond milk

Start by adding in a 1/2 scoop- 1 scoop of coconut oil instead of creamer.

Next, a tablespoon of honey. Honey will be our natural sweetener instead of sugar. 

We will now add a dash of almond milk just for a creamier texture! 

Mix well!


Taking on a newer, healthier lifestyle doesn't have to be challenging! Take baby steps in the right direction, make doable goals for yourself. It doesn't take much. You can achieve what you choose to! The only person in the way is you. And the best part is, healthy doesn't have to mean flavorless! Make these 2 morning recipes at home and taste the goodness. Not only great for your body, but for your taste buds as well!
